Dr. Zamer is the medical director of the Addiction Medicine Program at Saratoga Community Health Center. He has been practicing addiction medicine since 2001 and has worked in all aspects of treatment, including inpatient and ambulatory detox as well as inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. He believes deeply in the disease model of addiction and strives to treat every patient with compassion and respect.
He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Zamer is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
