Albany Medical Center
Albany Medical Center is northeastern New York's only academic health sciences center. It incorporates the 766-bed Albany Medical Center, which offers the widest range of medical and surgical services in the region, and Albany Medical College, which trains the next generation of doctors, scientists, and other health care professionals. It also includes the region’s largest physicians’ practice with 500 doctors. Albany Medical Center works with dozens of community partners to improve the region’s health and quality of life.
Columbia Memorial Health
Columbia Memorial Health has served the Hudson Valley since 1893. Comprised of a 192-bed acute care hospital in Hudson, New York, and more than 40 primary care and specialty care centers throughout Columbia, Greene, and Dutchess counties, Columbia Memorial Health provides services to more than 110,000 residents, with a focus on primary care, health education and advanced surgery.
Glens Falls Hospital
Glens Falls Hospital serves patients across five diverse counties in an area that spans 6,000 square miles of New York’s Adirondack region. Founded in 1897, the main Glens Falls Hospital campus is home to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center, the Joyce Stock Snuggery Childbirth Center, the Breast Center, and the Wound Healing Center. Along with the main hospital, more than 20 regional facilities provide a vast array of specialized medical and surgical services, including coronary care, behavioral health care, rehabilitation, and wellness services. A not-for-profit organization, Glens Falls Hospital has over 2,500 employees and a medical staff of more than 460 providers.
Saratoga Hospital, the only acute care facility in Saratoga County, has maintained Magnet designation for nursing excellence since 2004. Its more than 450 physicians and other medical professionals provide care at more than 20 locations in a broad range of medical specialties, from urgent and primary care to state-of-the-art imaging, pain management, diabetes care, and more.
Founded in 1880, the Albany Med Health System Visiting Nurses is a certified home health agency that provides skilled nursing, medical social work, home health aide services, and cardiac, infusion, diabetes, and rehabilitation therapies. The Albany Med Health System Staffing Alliance, operated by the Visiting Nurses, is our in-house agency providing contract nursing staff to the hospitals and facilities within our System.
