We perform cornea transplants in conjunction with the Center for Donation and Transplant in Albany.

This group, located at the Lions Eye Institute in Albany, was the first in the region to perform innovative procedures including endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK), custom LASIK, blade-free LASIK, stem cell transplantation, artificial cornea (keratoprosthesis), phakic intraocular lenses (IOLs) and multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) for the treatment of cataracts.

The team at Cornea Consultants specialize in the pathology of the ocular surface, cornea, iris and lens. They see patients with a wide variety of eye conditions and severity. They regularly conduct research and attend and contribute to major national and international meetings to stay abreast of any new developments in eye care and share their expertise.
