Dr. Simon is a pediatric nephrologist cares for children with all forms of renal diseases, including acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. She also has expertise in various forms of dialysis therapy for children, and in renal transplantation.

Dr. Simon takes a proactive role in the teaching activities of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension and is often consulted on the diagnosis and management of complex renal conditions. She also teaches medical students during the renal pathophysiology course. Dr. Simon is known for her ability to break complex disease process mechanisms into simple concepts that are easily understood.

Dr. Simon completed fellowship training at Boston Children's Hospital, and completed a residency in pediatrics at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago.
