Dr. Nigam has performed some of the most complex cancer surgeries in the nation. He has expertise in pancreatic and liver tumors and advanced training in gastrointestinal surgery. Dr. Nigam performs intra-operative guided ultrasound dissections, which optimize outcomes by increasing resectability and diminishing blood loss. He operates on large multi-vessel tumors when necessary. Dr. Nigam uses tissue expanders in the abdomen to allow for full-dose abdominal radiation for sarcomas.
