The Albany Med Health System’s orthopedic surgeons provide treatment options for adult and pediatric orthopedic conditions, from fractures and dislocations to joint replacement surgery, and handle the most complex surgical cases in northeastern New York and western New England. At Albany Medical Center, the department focuses on orthopedic oncology, pediatric orthopedics, and orthopedic trauma—a critical service for the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center.
Albany Medical Center also has a long-standing academic and private practice partnership with the Bone & Joint Center, enhancing patient care and offering surgical procedures throughout the region, including at the Center for Advanced Ambulatory Surgery in Malta.
