Albany Med Health System Physicians, Practices Honored For Performance
Physicians and practices across the Albany Med Health System have been recognized and honored by Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan in their 2021 Top Doctors Report.
The Albany-based health insurer highlighted the following practices and providers based on patient feedback and performance in its 2021 report, released in October:

Dr. Tassinari, who has been a member of the psychiatry department at Albany Med since 1975, says he is honored to be recognized among primary-care physicians and others who provide the highest levels of patient care. His passion for his work comes from helping patients to feel better emotionally, engage in the process of receiving care and gain hope.
And, he says there’s no better place to do that than Albany Med.
“There’s an amazing connection here that you just don’t see at other institutions,” Dr. Tassinari says. “The communication is superb and the camaraderie is extraordinary.”
The team at Albany Med Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Cohoes provides high-quality care to patients of all ages. Jennifer Lindstrom, MD, points out that while patient care is at the center of what they do, that goes beyond just patient interactions. It’s about ensuring that there’s good data, well-kept records and collaboration to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
