High risk pregnancy services and other prenatal and postnatal services are also offered at Saratoga Hospital.
The Maternal Fetal Medicine team offers preconception consultations for patients who would like to expand their family but have underlying chronic medical conditions (such as diabetes, lupus, heart disease, etc), prior pregnancy complications (such as preterm birth, preeclampsia, etc), or known genetic conditions. Our team can offer recommendations for optimizing maternal health prior to pregnancy, prevention of pregnancy complications, optimizing medication use if needed, and genetic testing or screening for patients and their partners. We also specialize in recurrent pregnancy loss and medical conditions which may impact your ability to become pregnant.

We specialize in the care of patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune disorders, complex surgical histories, cancer, neurologic disorders, mental health disorders, infectious disease, and more.
Our team offers a range of diagnostic and management options to support you and your family, including level II fetal ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, fetal MRI, genetic counseling, noninvasive prenatal screening, chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, intrauterine transfusion/periumbilical blood sampling, doppler monitoring, fetal care clinic, and more.
