Dr. Caliste is board-certified in vascular surgery and is an assistant professor at Albany Medical College. She has privileges at all the area hospitals including those of the Albany Med Health System, and the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center where she is the section chief of vascular surgery. She is RPVI certified and is trained to diagnose and treat all forms of vascular disease in both open surgical and endovascular techniques.

Dr. Caliste joined the vascular service in 2016 after completing her vascular surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. She is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and Williams College. She also completed a research fellowship with the Department of Surgery at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She received the 2013 American Venous Forum's BSN-Jobst Research Fellowship Award for Outstanding Research and her research has been published in numerous publications.
