Dr. Pregont is a primary care sports physician with training in non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions. He works with all levels of athletes, from children to professionals.

He is a native of the Capital Region and obtained his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He stayed at Albany Medical Center to complete his residency in Family Medicine. Upon completing his residency, Dr. Pregont completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship with Geisinger Health Systems in Pennsylvania. He has experience working with athletes of all ages and levels, including professionals. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians. His areas of interest include sports injuries, combat medicine, dance medicine, concussion management and injury prevention.
