Dr. Friedrich is an internal medicine physician who specializes in the treatment of HIV and AIDS. He sees patients at Albany Medical Center’s Department of Medicine. He also serves as the medical director of the Office of Quality and Safety at the New York State Department of Health, where he works on health care reform initiatives designed to improve patient care, safety and quality.
