Maggie Stanley, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC, is a senior physical therapist at Albany Medical Center. She joined Albany Medical Center in 2016. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Upstate Medical University with her doctorate in Physical Therapy and received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Endicott College. She is board certified in Sports Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
She specializes in athletic and sports injuries, movement screening, injury prevention and general orthopedic conditions. She is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), which is a comprehensive assessment used to classify movement patterns and whole body function. Treatments focus on movement pattern restoration, muscular re-training and correction of faulty biomechanics. She has been certified in the SFMA since 2012.
She has served as guest lecturer at SUNY Upstate Medical University in the Physical Therapy program and works as a part time Athletic Trainer at the College of St. Rose athletic department.
