Dr. Deverdis is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and specializes in urogynecology, pelvic floor medicine, and reconstructive surgeries. She treats patients with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary and bowel incontinence, prolapse of the vagina, cervix, bladder, uterus or fistulae, and performs complex pelvic floor surgeries without the use of mesh.

Dr. Deverdis has also spent time in underdeveloped areas of Ecuador and Mexico to provide clinical and surgical services to those in need. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of women of all ages with pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Deverdis was drawn to Albany Medical Center because of the level of care provided to patients, the growing department and residency program, and the opportunity to be involved with resident research. An associate professor, Dr. Deverdis also serves as the assistant program director for research, and is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Gold Humanism Honor Society, and International Urogynecological Association.
