Edward Marici, D.O., F.A.C.O.O.G. is the leader of a team awarded for their excellence in minimally invasive laparoscopic gynecology surgery – the first in New York State. Dr.Marici is Board Certified by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio University with a Bachelors of Science degree. Thereafter, he attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he acquired his Masters of Science degree and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree. Dr.Marici then completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In pursuing his career in minimally invasive surgery, incontinence, and prolapse he has trained with surgeons from Harvard, Yale, and The Cleveland Clinic.

In October 2015, Dr. Marici earned additional board certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery from The American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The board is one of the 18 approved specialty boards of the American Osteopathic Association, which was established in 1943 and is the primary source of certification for osteopathic physicians.
