Dr. Bowen is an internal medicine physician who has a special interest in sports medicine, exercise prescription and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine, Dr. Bowen has provided medical coverage for many regional and national sporting events, including the Mohawk Hudson River Marathon, Lake Placid Ironman and the Rugby World Cup Sevens. He has also served as a tournament physician for the America East and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conferences, and as a team physician for UAlbany and Siena College. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society.
