Bailey Whitbeck, MSN, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner in the Department of Pediatrics for the Division of Medical Genetics and Genomics. She sees patients of all ages, who typically have met with a geneticist first.
Whitbeck works with medically complex patients with genetic diagnoses and helps them understand their condition and coordinate their care and treatment. She previously worked as a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit in the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital, and as a primary care provider.
Whitbeck grew up in Albany and is a graduate of Albany High School. Her interest in the healthcare field began after participating in a shadowing program her senior year of high school, where she visited different departments at Albany Medical Center.
She earned a Master of Science at Utica University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Russell Sage College, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology at SUNY Cortland.
In her spare time, she enjoys vacationing with family and volunteering at Double H Ranch.
