Dr. Abdelhamid earned his medical degree from the Ain Shams University Abbasiyah Square in Cairo, Egypt. He completed a psychiatry residency at Mercer University in Georgia, and was a chief psychiatry resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Medical Center in New York City.
