Ariel Jaitovich, MD

Dr. Jaitovich diagnoses and treats patients with a variety of pulmonary (lung) diseases and conditions, including interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, pneumonia, pulmonary infections, pulmonary embolism, and asthma.

Dr. Jaitovich has extensive clinical training and a long history of academic appointments at medical teaching institutions. His main clinical and research interests include pulmonary complications of stem cell transplant, pulmonary complications of connective tissue diseases and scleroderma-associated hypertension, and muscle dysfunction in critical illness and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Jaitovich has presented at international conferences and has written and contributed to a number of peer reviewed publications, book chapters and abstracts.
