Dr. Gillani is the director of Clinical Research at the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital. He is board certified in Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine

Dr. Gillani joined the C.R. Wood Cancer Center in 2004. He is an active member of the Physician Advisory Group for Computerized Physician Order Entry & Electronic Medical Records as well as the Blood Transfusion Committee. He also serves as the Physician Champion for clinical research for lung cancer.

Dr. Gillani attended medical school at Dow University of Health Science in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University’s Kalamazoo center. His fellowship, in Hematology and Medical Oncology, was completed at University of Vermont.
