Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Christina Rudolph Joins Albany Medical Center

Christina Rudolph, MD, has joined the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Albany Medical Center. She has also been named associate medical director of Quality for the division and has been appointed assistant professor at Albany Medical College.

With a special interest in head-to-toe pediatric plastic surgery, Dr. Rudolph is dedicated to improving her young patients’ quality of life so they can focus on being kids. She cares for children with a wide range of congenital and acquired conditions, including craniosynostosis; cleft lip and palate; hand trauma, fractures, and deformities; burns; chronic and traumatic wounds; brachial plexus and peripheral nerve injuries; facial paralysis; ear deformities; jaw malformations, and more.

She also treats pediatric and adult patients with facial trauma and fractures, vascular anomalies, and benign and malignant skin lesions, adults with cleft and craniofacial conditions, and performs adult general reconstruction procedures.

Most recently, Dr. Rudolph returned to the Capital Region after completing a fellowship in pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Albany Medical Center and is a graduate of the Siena/Albany Medical College Science and Humanities combined degree program.
