Columbia Memorial Health’s Annual Ball Raises $500,000

Framed by a setting sun on a nearly perfect spring evening, the Columbia Memorial Health (CMH) Foundation’s Annual Ball, held on June 4th at the Locust Hill Barn, reunited hundreds of CMH benefactors and friends to raise $500,000 to support CMH’s network of health care services in Columbia, Greene and Dutchess counties.

The annual gala honored longtime CMH orthopedic surgeon Dr. Louis DiGiovanni and featured a live auction to raise funds to support the CMH Center for Breast Health that will provide state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic breast health services in a dedicated, modern, and comfortable space.

Anne Schomaker, Chair of the Columbia Memorial Health Foundation, said: “We are so pleased and grateful for the tremendous turnout at this year’s Ball. The enthusiasm, friendship and generosity shared by all made it clear that the bond between Columbia Memorial Health and our community remains strong. The proceeds and the positive energy generated by this event will further strengthen CMH’s commitment to providing comprehensive health care services to everyone in our region. Thank you to everyone who joined us or contributed to the tremendous success of the event.”
