Patients at the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center benefit from the same advanced technology available elsewhere in the region, including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT ), a dual energy linear accelerator with multi-leaf collimation, a high-speed multi-slice CT simulator, and an image-guided tumor localization system. These advanced technologies deliver high doses of radiation with as little damage as possible to surrounding tissues, enabling treatment of a wide range of cancers in Saratoga, close to home for many patients.
