Dr. Hasak is an interventional endoscopist who treats a wide range of pancreatic, biliary and gastrointestinal conditions, including acute and chronic pancreatitis, Barrett’s esophagus, dysphagia, biliary and pancreatic stones, submucosal lesions and gastrointestinal bleeding. He also diagnoses and stages gastrointestinal cancers, which he treats through therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Hasak specializes in minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), single balloon enteroscopy and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). Additional procedures he performs include endoscopic ultrasound-directed transgastric ERCP (EDGE), endoscopic submucosal dissection, enteral stenting, endoscopic fistula closure, Zenker’s diverticulotomy transoral incisionless fundoplication and endobariatric procedures. He also uses the EDGE procedure to remove bile duct stones in gastric bypass patients.
