Dr. Gilani is the Director of Cytopathology at Albany Medical Center. He is an anatomic and clinical pathologist with expertise in cytopathology, as well as endocrine, head, and neck pathology, with a particular focus on thyroid and salivary gland diseases. His academic contributions include serving as a book editor and guest editor, and authoring multiple book chapters and numerous peer-reviewed publications.
