Maya Raad, MD, has joined the division of Pediatric Critical Care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Raad treats critically ill or injured children of all ages in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). She has special interests in medical education and quality and safety improvement initiatives.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Critical Care Medicine and has presented various abstracts and posters at national conferences.

Dr. Raad completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital in New Haven, CT. She completed a pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, MD. She earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College and is excited to return to Albany Medical Center as faculty.
