Mandeep Sidhu, MD

Dr. Mandeep Sidhu treats diseases of the heart and vascular system. He has an interest in coronary artery disease (CAD) with an emphasis on stable ischemic heart disease (SIHD), including in the chronic kidney disease population. Dr. Sidhu also treats atrial fibrillation with an interest in the non-invasive management of atrial fibrillation, including anticoagulation to prevent stroke and blood clots (thromboembolism). Dr. Sidhu is active in clinical trials in CAD and SIHD (namely ISCHEMIA and ISCHEMIA CKD) and has co-authored over 70 peer reviewed publications including book chapters in the literature. Dr. Sidhu is certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sidhu is an associate professor of Medicine and serves as the associate dean for clinical sciences and research affairs at Albany Medical College.
