Karla Giramonti is a nurse practitioner who sees both pediatric and adult patients for general urology problems. She has a special interest in kidney stone disease and also sees patients who have prenatal urinary issues. In addition, she performs circumcisions in the clinic for newborns and in the operating room for patients aged six months to 16 years old.
Giramonti is also an active researcher on urological topics. She has published multiple papers and has authored chapters for the Society of Urologic Nursing & Associates core curriculum and the Handbook of Pediatric Urology. She is a speaker both locally and nationally on a variety of pediatric topics and has served on the board of the Pediatric Urology Nurses and Specialists Association.
Giramonti earned a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Sage College.
