Dr. Gerety is an endocrinologist who is specializes in general diabetes management and metabolic bone disease, including osteoporosis.

Board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, Dr. Gerety is a past-president of the American Diabetes Association New York State affiliate. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Yale School of Medicine, and a residency in internal medicine at Albany Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

He is founder of The Endocrine Group Tour de Cure team which rides every June to raise money to help find a cure for diabetes. When not in the office, Dr. Gerety loves to be with his family of four children, riding his bike or skiing.
