Dr. Adelstein treats rhythm disorders of the heart, including supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and bradyarrhythmias (slow heart rates). In addition to medical therapies, Dr. Adelstein performs procedures to treat heart rhythm abnormalities, including cardiac ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. He also removes pacemaker and defibrillator leads.

Dr. Adelstein is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts in his area of expertise and has participated in clinical trials.
