Dr. Elguero graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. He received his family medicine training at the Albany Medical College Family Medicine Residency Program. After graduation, he spent some time in Ohio before returning to Albany Medical College as a faculty member. Dr. Elguero is actively involved in resident and medical student teaching as well as research. He has been recognized for his teaching abilities multiple times by our residents and has received many awards including Faculty Preceptor of the Year and Teacher of the Year.
