DAISY Award

Celebrating Exceptional Nursing Care

The DAISY Award is an international recognition program started in memory of Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of an autoimmune disease. Patrick’s family experienced the difference his nurses made in his care through clinical excellence and compassionate care. The family created the program to express gratitude to nurses and to encourage other patients, families, and staff to thank and honor their special nurses.

Please visit the DAISY Foundation website to learn more about Patrick's story and how the DAISY Award recognizes extraordinary nurses.
