Columbia Memorial Health Rheumatology Welcomes Dr. Giovanna Rosas Chavez

HUDSON, N.Y., Aug. 21, 2026 — Giovanna Rosas Chavez, MD, has joined Columbia Memorial Health Rheumatology at 23 Fish and Game Road in Hudson.

Dr. Rosas Chavez completed a rheumatology fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City and an internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She most recently treated patients at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

She received her medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Rosas Chavez is now accepting new adult patients for clinic visits at Columbia Memorial Health Rheumatology at the Fish and Game Road offices in Hudson. Patients can call 518-828-8514 for an appointment.
