Board certified in general cardiology, advanced heart failure, and transplant cardiology, Dr. Tallman has extensive expertise in treating patients with complex heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and cardiac amyloidosis.

Dr. Tallman completed a fellowship in cardiology at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. while serving in the United States Army Reserves. He later served as captain at Noble Army Hospital in Fort McClellan in Anniston, Ala. He is a 1990 graduate of Albany Medical College.
