Dr. Waxman is an associate professor of Emergency Medicine, and is the research director in the Division of Research at Albany Medical College. He has a special interest and is fellowship-trained in the area of HIV research.

Dr. Waxman holds a medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA.
