Michael Kortbus, MD

Dr. Kortbus is a longtime local otolaryngologist with Albany Medical Center’s Department of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Kortbus sees patients of all ages with ear, nose and throat issues such as sinusitis and allergies, ear infections, speech and swallowing disorders, benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, balance disorders and infections and enlargement of the tonsils and adenoids.

Dr. Kortbus was president of Hudson ENT beginning in 2012, and previously practiced at Northern Dutchess ENT. Board certified in otolaryngology, he completed his residency training in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at NYU Medical Center in New York, NY. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.

He serves as president of the New York Society for Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
