Heather Bauerle is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Alzheimer's Center at Albany Medical Center. It was after she worked on a Mobile Stroke Unit program and was part of a team that delivered stroke care right at patient’s doorsteps that she learned she had a love for the brain and specific care of this patient population. After becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent time working in the Neurosurgical Critical Care ICU setting before relocating to the Capital Region to be closer to her family.
