Costumes, and Candy, and Slime – Oh My!

Halloween festivities were in full force at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital today.

Representatives from Double H Ranch visited to host a Halloween craft party, full of painting pumpkins and handmade slime. The child life specialists, spent the afternoon “reverse trick or treating”, meaning they brought the goodies room-to-room on the pediatric floors. And the Ronald McDonald House Charities volunteers gave their hospitality cart a special spooky look. The wonderful children’s hospital health-care workers got creative and dressed in fun costumes! The nurses and PAs on the pediatric floors dressed as “Where’s Waldo?”, the child life specialists were hamburgers and hotdogs, and the team in the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders dressed up as the characters from Harry Potter. Thank you to everyone who made the children and families smile this Halloween!
