Albany Medical Center Welcomes Capital Region's First Baby of 2024

Albany Medical Center is excited to announce the arrival of the Capital Region’s first baby of the new year, Scarlett Johana Torres Ambrocio.

Scarlett was born at 4:47 a.m. on New Year’s Day, weighing 8 pounds, 11 ounces and she is 22 inches long.

Proud parents of the healthy girl are Elvia Johana Ambrocio Cutz and Wilder Ariel Torres Barrera, of Albany. This is their first child, and mom and baby are doing well.

Saratoga Hospital, a member of the Albany Med Health System, welcomed the first baby of 2023.
