Handling Instructions for Offsite Areas: NP, OP & Mid Turbinate swab in viral transport. Place on wet ice or refrigerate. Submit lower Respiratory specimens in a bronch tube or sterile, capped container. Transport (Hand Deliver) to the laboratory ASAP.
Reference Values: Negative for SARS-CoV-2 RNA.

Routine TAT: 6hrs from 7am - 7pm, 6 - 13 hrs from 7pm - 7am, based on lab capability
Stat TAT: 6 hrs from 7am - 7pm, 6 - 13 hrs from 7pm - 7am. STAT testing requires approval from Hospital Administration as tests kit availability is limited.
