Dr. Peter J. Saunders is an assistant professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Albany Medical College. He is interested in Artificial Intelligence and image recognition hardware and software for use in the diagnosis of hematopoietic neoplasms and hematologic disorders.
Dr. Saunders is also interested in management strategies as they they apply to the optimal functioning of healthcare entities, as well as test utilization optimization. He is also interested in international healthcare system comparisons.
Dr. Saunders enjoys teaching medical students and residents as an assitant professor at Albany Medical College.
