Dr. Paige is the executive vice president and hospital general director of Albany Medical Center. As hospital general director, he oversees medical and regulatory affairs, nursing, ambulatory services, hospital ancillary services, and emergency management.
Trained as an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Paige also has served as executive vice president, chief physician executive and chief clinical officer for Jackson Health System in Miami, where he oversaw the chief medical officers of each hospital within the system. He had also served as chief medical officer for Miami-Dade County, responsible for helping to lead its Covid-19 response and recovery since November 2020. Dr. Paige served in several roles at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., including as interim chief medical officer, associate chief operating officer, and vice chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Paige earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University and his undergraduate degree from Le Moyne College, both in Syracuse. He earned a Master of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
