Dr. John P. Verdini treats diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Some of the more common problems that he diagnoses and treats are strokes, epilepsy (seizures), headaches, dementias (Alzheimer's disease), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, chronic pain and a wide range of other neurological illnesses.

He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds membership in the American Academy of Neurology, Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Medical Society of the County of Albany. He currently serves on the CDPHP Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.He is also an assistant professor of neurology.
